    The CHIME Partner Education Summit (CPES) provides CHIME Foundation and AEHIT Foundation firms with a unique educational opportunity to learn about IT strategies and partnership values directly from prominent CHIME CIOs and Healthcare IT Executives. The education will include dialogue on the compelling challenges healthcare IT executives face in their daily roles as well as recommendations on how to address their needs associated with the continual transformation of healthcare IT.

    • TEDx style presentations with the theme, “The Evolving Healthcare Landscape”
    • Breakouts on technical proficiency, hospital/healthcare expertise, and relationship building

    At CHIME Foundation’s 4th annual CPES event, leading provider CIOs will take Foundation firms on a deep dive into the world of delivery system transformation and what they need to be successful.  It is an excellent venue for bringing together sales and marketing teams to learn directly from their target customers – how to build and maintain long term strategic partnerships in the world of health IT.

    Over 175 CHIME Foundation representatives attended last year’s event – representing 51 Foundation partner organizations.

    Attendees are eligible to earn up to earn up to 15 CEUs.

    What is the CHIME Partner Education Summit?
    The CHIME Partner Education Summit (CPES) is an exciting program creative by CHIME and newly available to AEHIT Foundation firm representatives. The objective of CPES is to provide educational and professional development opportunities for Foundation representatives in support of CHIME’s mission: Exceptional Leaders Transforming Healthcare.

    Why should I attend?
    At CHIME Foundation’s annual CPES event, leading provider CIOs will take Foundation firms on a deep dive into the world of delivery system transformation and what they need to be successful.  This is an education event targeted directly for Foundation representatives taught by a faculty of prominent CIOs.  It is an excellent venue for bringing together sales and marketing teams to learn directly from their target customers – how to build and maintain long term strategic partnerships in the world of health IT. It’s time to be recognized as a trusted partner, and not just another vendor!

    When is the event, where is it and how long will it last?
    CPES 2019 will take place September 4-6, at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. 

    How much does it cost?
    $995 per person, but a special Early Bird price of $795 runs through mid-August. There are group discounts available for those sending 5-9 team members (10% discount) or 10+ team members (15% discount). Email the Foundation for your team’s code.

    Is there a limit on the number of registrations our company can use?
    There is no registration limit per Foundation firm. Anyone from a CHIME Foundation or AEHIS/AEHIT/AEHIA firm with a vested interest in learning directly from the healthcare IT leaders of CHIME is encouraged to attend.

    Who is presenting and what will the conference cover?
    Educational sessions will be presented by healthcare IT leaders – members (CIOs and CMIOs) of CHIME. Educational sessions are designed specifically for Foundation firms. Topics covered during prior CPES events include:

    What is the format?
    CPES19 will be a blended format of panel discussions, roundtables, general session speakers, as well as receptions.

    Is there a conference dress code?
    It is recommended that you dress business casual for CPES.

    Can I earn educational credits that will count towards my CFCHE (CHIME Foundation Certified Healthcare Executive) certification?
    Yes, by attending CPES19, you can earn CEUs towards your CFCHE certification. For those not yet CFCHE certified, exam opportunities will be available at CPES19. The CFCHE designation serves to recognize those who understand the various responsibilities and strategic vision of a healthcare leader, and who can successfully evaluate and implement strategies to produce the best results for their organization and business partners.     Why should I go to CPES when I was already planning on going to the AEHIT Fall Summit?
    CPES is designed from the ground up specifically for you and your team. While the Fall Summit is the perfect avenue for you to reach and network with AEHIT provider members (CISOs, etc)- CPES is the perfect opportunity to prepare and strengthen your skills to better serve those provider members.

    The reservation cut-off is August 5th. A one-night room and tax deposit is required to hold the reservation. Reservations received after the cut-off will be on a rate and space-available basis only. Make your reservations EARLY!

    ROOM RATE: A block of rooms has been reserved for CHIME members at the special rate of $169.00 per night for single/double occupancy. Additional Charges include current room tax of 14%

    Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

    CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so no later than 24-hours prior to the date of your arrival to receive a full refund of your deposit.

    LOCATION: The resort is located approximately 2 miles from the Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

    Transportation:  The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the terminals.

    FEES & PAYMENT
    The early bird registration fee for CPES19 is $795.00. The registration fee includes all program materials as well as breakfasts, lunches, and receptions.

    Registration will increase to the standard rate of $995.00 on August 19, 2019. Reserve your spot now!

    All funds must be in US dollars. Checks should be made payable to the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and mailed to 710 Avis Drive, Suite 200, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.

    Cancellation Policy:  Due to the limited capacity of this program, no refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after August 19, 2019.
